Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all room bookings.
Please note that for promotional bookings or bookings through a third party provider, the relevant terms and conditions should be consulted.
By placing a booking with us at the Hebridean Inn you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions as set out. During your stay you agree to abide by the subsequent conditions as set out. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a booking.
To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 16 years of age. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on this website. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set out within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities. Any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission.
To secure any booking we require a deposit to be paid in advance. This amounts to £10 per person per night unless other arrangements have be made through third party booking sites.
Deposit payments must be "cleared funds" before a booking can be confirmed. Deposits are non-refundable. Advanced payments may be reimbursed as set out in the cancellation policy below.
Payments can be made online or over the phone using debit/credit card as well as by digital bank transfer. Any charges raised against us by our bank for handling dishonoured cheques, bank transfers or any other payments must be reimbursed by the lead guest within seven days of notification.
All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other staying guests, neighbours, staff and owners at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests do not honour this agreement or cause a disturbance/nuisance to other guests, neighbours, staff or owners.
We recommend booking in advance if you would like to dine with us during your stay as we can be very busy and tables are available on a first come, first served basis. You can book via our "Book a Table" link in the "Contact Us" page below.
Please note: Our restaurant is closed on a Monday for lunch and dinner. We would be happy to assist you in finding an alternative place to dine should it be required.
Cancellation
Any cancellation will result in the loss of the relevant non-refundable deposit.
The cancellation of a booking more than 4 weeks from the day of arrival will result in a refund of any payment less the non-refundable deposit.
The cancellation of a booking between 1 and 4 weeks of the day of arrival will result in a refund of any payment less the cost of one night's stay and the non-refundable deposit.
The cancellation of a booking within 1 week of the day of arrival will result in a full charge of the stay.
Note that we will endeavour to rebook cancelled rooms and a refund may be agreed depending on our ability to successfully do so ie. a cancellation of a single room for 2 nights rebooked to accommodate a single room for 1 night would result in a refund for the rebooked night (less the non-refundable deposit).
The "day of arrival" is defined as 9am on the day of the first night's stay for any room booking.
